Description: Large deciduous tree with branches arranged in circular layers. Typical tree profile can be identified even from a distance.Simple leaves with terminal - leaves arranged at the end of the branch. During fall, leaves turn crimson read before falling on ground.Large leaf size. Leaves are broad at the end and narrow at the base.Almost sessile flowers are tightly arranged on a peduncle in circular layers. Upper flowers of the spike are male, lower flowers are bisexual.Flowers are small greenish-with white very strong odour.Flowers don’t have petals. 10 Stamens are arranged in two rows.Fruits are egg shaped with edges.Should not be planed in Indian subcontinent.
