Our Objective
We feel that people have genuin curiocity to know names of the plant they see around. People generally check the Id using Google lens or post a questions on to some nature related social media groups. For many reasons, both these sources are not reliable enough. We feel, best way to identify a plant is by consulting a subject expert in this field.
On OneFlora platform we wish to bring together a group of subject experts: Botanist, Taxonomists, Specialist to identify - orchids, grasses, fungi, native vegetables etc and use their expertise to provide Reliable and Authentic Plant Identification service.
We wish a charge a minimal of Rs10/- per identification. This is to ensure only sincere and genuin people submit the request and we utilise Experts time efficiently for those who actually need such service. Money generated thru this venture would be used to develop innovative solutions to conserve our nature. If you believe in our vision, you have an option to contribute more than Rs10/-

This is how you do it
Guidelines to sumbit your plant identification request
- Select the location of the plant
- Select
if you are at the tree location - Manually move the location icon on the map to the actual tree location
- Location accuracy is about 10m, for more accuracy, move the location icon carefully
- Longitude and Latitude of the location will automatically get captured
- Select the Record date, when the photos were taken
- Add Notes, if you wish to share any information
- Give 10 digit mobile number
- Scan the QR code to initiate payment
- Upload the photo from gallery or click it with your camera on the spot
- Remember to enable location setting on your camera before taking photos
- .jpg/.png or .heic file are only accepted
- Accuracy of the plant identification depends upon the quality of the photo
- Atleast two photos are mandatory, but we expect you to submit four good quality photos
- Capture photos in square frame
- Blurr, hazy picture may lead to incorrect identification
- 'Submit' the form and thats it - Check your plant under "My Pending List"
- Once Identification is performed by expert - Your plant ID is visible under "My ID List"
- You can then download the image collage and share with your friends!!
